Booking Contract Agreement (Terms and Conditions)

This booking contract is made and entered into by Feel The Funk Disco and you, the client. To secure your booking, you must read and sign the following terms and conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

  • To secure the booking date, a reservation fee of £100.00 is required, along with a signed copy of this booking contract agreement.

  • The remaining balance must be paid 14 days before the event date (an invoice will be emailed to you for this payment).

  • Feel The Funk Disco reserves the right to withdraw its services if the above payment terms are not met.

2. Cancellation

  • Cancellation by the Client:

    • If you cancel 60 or more days before the event date, the reservation fee is non-refundable.

    • If you cancel between 30 and 59 days before the event date, 75% of the total fee is payable.

    • If you cancel 29 or fewer days before the event date, 100% of the total fee is payable.​

  • Date Changes:

    • If you wish to move the booking date and notify Feel The Funk Disco 60 or more days before the originally confirmed date, no charges apply.

    • If you wish to move the booking date and notify Feel The Funk Disco between 30 and 59 days before the originally confirmed date, 75% of the total fee will be payable, the original booking will be cancelled, and a new booking will be created.

    • If you wish to move the booking date and notify Feel The Funk Disco 29 or fewer days before the originally confirmed date, 100% of the total fee will be payable, the original booking will be cancelled, and a new booking will be created.​

  • Feel The Funk Disco reserves the right to cancel the booking without refund if the validity of the booking or the client’s intentions are in doubt.​

  • In the highly unlikely event that Feel The Funk Disco must cancel due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued. In such cases, Feel The Funk Disco will recommend DJ(s) it works closely with, and you will have the option to contact them directly.​

3. Equipment and Safety

  • Equipment setup requires approximately 60 minutes, and removal at the end of the event takes 50 to 60 minutes. Please ensure the venue allows access during these times.

  • The client is responsible for the behaviour and actions of all guests attending the event, as well as for the safety of Feel The Funk Disco staff. If aggressive or disruptive behaviour occurs, services will be paused until it is safe to resume. If the behaviour persists, Feel The Funk Disco reserves the right to terminate services without issuing a refund.

  • Any damage, theft, or loss of Feel The Funk Disco’s equipment caused by the client or their guests will result in immediate service termination without a refund. The client is liable for full reimbursement of damages, including costs incurred from event cancellations due to replacement delays.

  • Feel The Funk Disco will not be liable for the loss of or damage to personal belongings or for any injuries sustained by the client or their guests. Guests must refrain from going behind the DJ booth or near the equipment positioned on either side of it.

4. Marquees and Outdoor Events

  • A reserved parking space near the marquee must be provided for Feel The Funk Disco.

  • The ground leading to and inside the marquee must be dry and solid.

  • A flat, level stage area of at least 3.5m (width) x 2.5m (depth) must be provided.

  • The marquee must offer adequate protection for Feel The Funk Disco’s equipment against rain, including fully secured side panels.

  • If weather conditions pose a risk to health or safety, services may be terminated early without refund.

  • If a power outage or generator failure occurs, Feel The Funk Disco will attempt to restore power. If unsuccessful, the service will be terminated without refund.

  • If a generator is required, the client must notify Feel The Funk Disco before confirming the booking to ensure suitability.

5. Other Terms

  • For clients booking The Wedding Package, music will be provided from 7pm to midnight. Feel The Funk Disco does not offer packages for shorter durations. Additional hours beyond midnight will be charged at £70.00 per hour, payable before the extension begins. Extended hours are subject to venue management and Feel The Funk Disco’s discretion.

  • If equipment setup is denied by the venue upon arrival, the service will be terminated, and no refund will be given.

  • Feel The Funk Disco reserves the right to record video and photography during the event for promotional use on social media, their website, and other materials. If you do not wish for your event to be recorded, please notify Feel The Funk Disco before booking.   • Flash/strobe lighting may be used during the event. Please notify Feel The Funk Disco before booking if you prefer not to use this feature.

  • Feel The Funk Disco will not be liable for any loss of permanent or temporary electrical power, even if reasonable efforts are made to resolve such issues.

  • Feel The Funk Disco will not be liable for any breaches caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to Acts of God, fire, floods, or other unforeseen catastrophes.
